The Viking Museum Fyrkat consists of the historic ring castle Fyrkat from 980 and the Viking Farm, which consists of 9 reconstructed houses that together form a magnate's house from the Viking Age.
Both the dwelling houses and the workshops are built of oak timber with clay-lined walls and thatched roofs.
Throughout the season, the Viking farm provides the framework for many Viking activities, e.g. Viking clothing, bread baking, wool work, forging and shooting with bow and arrow.
