Bike to Hobro
In the first few kilometers, you can look forward to a journey through open countryside with fields and meadows, and not least the beautiful Mariager Fjord.
Enjoy your lunch in Hobro
Take a well-deserved break after 24 km at Hobro and swing by the town for some lunch at Cafe K. You should also not miss experiencing the UNESCO certified Fyrkat Ringborg, while you are in Hobro.
Bike to Viborg
Continue the last 42 km to Viborg. Here you can, among other things, take a stroll down to the fantastic historical Cathedral Quarter, where you step into a time pocket with 1000 years of Danish history.
Eat your dinner in the historic town
You can enjoy a well-deserved delicious meal at many places in the city, such as Restaurant Latinerly or Restaurant Pavarotti.
Stay indoors
Enjoy a night in at places like Klosterpensionen or at Golf Hotel Viborg, where breakfast is also available.
Stay outdoors
You can pitch your own tent at DCU Camping Viborg Lake, where you can also cook your dinner in the communal kitchen.
Enjoy your breakfast from a delicious bakery in town
Start your morning by finding breakfast at one of the city's delicious bakeries, such as Bakery By Doktor or Lagkagehuset, after which the day's stage can begin.
Bike through Dollerup Hills The first few kilometers take you along the edge of the dramatic and beautiful landscape of Dollerup Hills, where after 25 kilometers you reach the charming village of Thorning.
Take a well-deserved break In Thorning, you can find lunch at either Spar or Thorning Pizza Express Kebab House. You can also refill your water and use the toilet facilities at Thorning Church and get a stamp in your Hærvej Passport.
Continue for the remaining 14 kilometers towards Kragelund, where you will among other things cycle on Grathe Heath, where the famous battle between Svend, Knud, and Valdemar took place.
The Hærvej trail ends in Kragelund, from here you need to find your way for 6 kilometers to Engesvang station, where you can catch the train back to your car.
