The town of Nørre Snede, where the two-day tour begins, has been a traffic hub since ancient times for traders, drovers, robbers, and yes, armies traveling on the Hærvejen. You can start your hiking trip with a visit to Nørre Snede church. The first part of the church dates back to the 12th century. The same is true for the church's baptismal font, which is large and magnificent in Romanesque style with double lions. At the churchyard office, you will also find the stamp for your Hærvej passport.
Go to Tinnetgård Visitor Farm and enjoy your lunch
Head south on Skovbakken and turn left onto Skolegade to start your Hærvejstur. Here you will find the first sign.

From here, the journey continues through the most beautiful forest landscape with the option for a detour to Rørbæk Lake (500 m). Follow the route for the next approx. 10 km, where both the Gudenå and Skjern Å rivers have their sources.
When you reach Tinnetvej, you can turn left and find Hammervej 28, 7171 Vonge, where Tinnetgård Farm Visit is located. This is a small farm shop and a really cozy place to take a lunch break (note: they are closed on Monday and Sunday).
